Lets see, starting on Thursday evening I had an audition to see if I could become a Jazzercise instructor. I had been practicing for weeks to learn the 10 routines that were assigned. We took a test, basic anatomy, physiology, exercise science sort of stuff and then we had the actual audition. The trainer had us draw numbers, and of course I pulled number 1! I was so nervous I was nearly shaking but I got onstage and did the 2 routines that the trainer picked at random, using the other 3 hopefuls as my pseudo-class. I passed the audition and then had to attend the workshop portion of the certification process on Friday and Saturday. Friday we worked on learning the proper form of all the moves and the basics of cueing etc. All in all we were probably working out nearly 4 hours that day so needless to say Saturday I woke up pretty sore. Saturday was all about the business end of it and it passed pretty quickly. Saturday night we went to see Adrenaline, a friends band. They were great as usual! Today, Kev, the kids, our friend, Ronda and I went to Oktoberfest. Now all the walking, dancing, working out and lack of sleep (due to nerves and staying out late and getting up early) has caught up with me and I am going to bed. Whew!
